Key Objectives of the Role
- Prepare accurate proposal, production and shop drawings
- Ensure drawings are in line with technical capabilities for manufacturing
- Minimize production and installation errors
- Support smooth coordination between sales, design, production, and site teams
- Maintain drawing standards and documentation accuracy
- Improve operational efficiency through detailed technical planning
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Drawing Preparation
- Prepare detailed furniture and interior shop drawings

Develop:
- Offer drawings
- Production drawings
- Assembly drawings
- Section details
- Joinery details
- Hardware details
- Installation drawings
- CNC-ready drawing references where required
- Create BOM and material detailing support drawings
- Ensure dimension accuracy and technical completeness
- Prepare revisions and updated drawings based on project changes
2. Coordination with Sales and Design Team
- Convert conceptual designs into technical drawings
- Coordinate with Interior Designers for design intent clarification
- Resolve technical detailing issues
- Suggest practical manufacturing alternatives where required
- Ensure technical feasibility of proposed designs
3. Production Coordination

Coordinate with Operation/Production team regarding:
- Construction details
- Material specifications
- Hardware selection
- Assembly methods
- Ensure drawings are production-friendly
- Support factory teams during production clarification
- Reduce production errors through accurate detailing

4. Site & Installation Support
- Prepare site-specific modification drawings
- Support site teams with technical clarifications
- Incorporate site measurements into final drawings
- Coordinate revisions based on site conditions
- Ensure installation drawings are clear and executable
5. Documentation & Drawing Control
- Maintain organized drawing records and revision history
- Ensure proper naming and filing of drawing documents
- Maintain drawing issue logs
- Ensure latest revisions are shared with relevant departments
- Support ERP/document management systems where applicable
6. Quality & Technical Standards
- Ensure drawings comply with company drafting standards
- Maintain consistency in dimensions, layers, annotations, and symbols
- Verify drawing accuracy before release
- Minimize technical discrepancies and rework
- Support standardization of technical details and libraries
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in:
- Interior Design
- Architecture
- Drafting Technology
- Civil Engineering
- Furniture Design
- or related field
2–8 years of experience in:
- Furniture drafting
- Interior fit-out drafting
- Modular furniture detailing
- Shop drawing preparation
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Modular furniture manufacturing
- Commercial interiors
- Hospitality interiors
- Retail fixtures
- Residential interiors
Strong working knowledge of:
- AutoCAD
Preferred:
- IMOS
- PYTHA
- Mozaik
- CNC-related drafting knowledge
- ERP systems such as Odoo
Fluent in English and Hindi
