Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy describes how ISTO Furniture LLP (“ISTO Furniture”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) processes, ships, and delivers orders placed through our website www.istofurniture.com.

This policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Return Policy, which collectively govern your purchase and use of our services.

1. Shipping Coverage

  • We currently ship within India only, unless otherwise agreed in writing for specific B2B or project-based orders.
  • Delivery to remote or non-serviceable pin codes is subject to courier availability and may require additional transit time or charges, which will be communicated prior to dispatch.

2. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days from the date of order confirmation and payment receipt.
  • Made-to-order, customized, white-label, or project-based furniture may require longer production and dispatch timelines, which will be communicated separately at the time of order confirmation or contract signing.
  • Orders are not shipped or delivered on Sundays or public holidays.

3. Estimated Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines depend on the product type, destination, and logistics partner:

  • Standard products: 7–21 business days after dispatch
  • Large furniture / modular items: 14–30 business days after dispatch
  • Project, B2B, or custom orders: As per agreed delivery schedule

These timelines are estimates only and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to logistics disruptions, weather conditions, regulatory inspections, strikes, or force majeure events.

4. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges, if applicable, are calculated at checkout or communicated separately for large, bulky, or project-based orders.
  • Any additional costs arising from special delivery requests (e.g., express delivery, restricted access locations, re-delivery due to customer unavailability) shall be borne by the customer.
  • For B2B or bulk orders, shipping terms (Ex-Works, FOB, Delivered, etc.) may be governed by a separate written agreement or quotation.

5. Shipment Confirmation and Tracking

  • Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation via email or WhatsApp, including tracking details where available.
  • Tracking availability depends on the logistics partner and the nature of the shipment (courier vs. dedicated freight).

6. Delivery and Handover

  • Delivery is typically ground-floor only, unless otherwise specified or agreed in writing.
  • Assembly, installation, or wall mounting services are not included, unless explicitly stated in the product description or quotation.
  • The recipient (or an authorized representative) must be present at the delivery location to accept the shipment.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery and acceptance, subject to inspection rights outlined below.

7. Inspection on Delivery

Customers are advised to inspect the shipment at the time of delivery:

  • If the outer packaging is visibly damaged, customers should note the damage on the delivery receipt and, where possible, take photographs before accepting delivery.
  • Any transit damage, shortages, or incorrect items must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery at info@istofurniture.com, along with photographs and order details.
  • Failure to report issues within this timeframe may affect eligibility for replacement or return, as detailed in our Return Policy.

8. Delays, Failed Deliveries, and Re-delivery

  • ISTO Furniture is not responsible for delivery delays caused by incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer.
  • If a delivery attempt fails due to customer unavailability or refusal to accept delivery, additional re-delivery or return-to-origin charges may apply.
  • Persistent failure to accept delivery may be treated as a cancellation, subject to applicable deductions as per our Terms and Conditions and Return Policy.

9. B2B, Project, and Bulk Orders

For B2B, institutional, project, or bulk purchases:

  • Shipping terms, timelines, insurance, unloading responsibilities, and risk transfer will be governed by the applicable quotation, purchase order, or written agreement.
  • Consumer protection laws applicable to individual consumers may not apply to B2B transactions.
  • ISTO Furniture reserves the right to use third-party freight forwarders, transporters, or logistics partners for such deliveries.

10. Third-Party Logistics Partners

  • ISTO Furniture uses third-party courier and freight service providers for shipping and delivery.
  • While we make reasonable efforts to ensure reliable delivery, we are not liable for acts, omissions, or delays caused by third-party logistics providers beyond our reasonable control.

11. Data Usage and Privacy

  • Personal information such as name, address, phone number, and email address is shared with logistics partners solely for the purpose of order fulfillment and delivery, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • We do not sell or misuse customer data for shipping purposes.

12. Force Majeure

ISTO Furniture shall not be liable for failure or delay in shipping or delivery due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, or transportation disruptions.
